Answer
This issue is an operational matter for Translink. I have sought the requested information and have been advised as follows:
Translink has a Domestic Violence and Abuse Policy and a Child Protection Policy. Awareness is raised through internal communications and at Corporate Induction. The Domestic Violence and Abuse policy’s associated Management Guidelines provides access to a Domestic Abuse Awareness Raising Tool.
In addition, all Translink front line staff receive training on the ‘Ask for Angela’ Womens Night Safety Charter NI as well as training on child protection responsibilities including reporting of any concerns.
For any future queries relating to operational matters, you should contact Translink directly at aqw.request@translink.co.uk. Making direct contact with Translink will ensure that you receive the information in the shortest possible timeframe and make best use of limited public resources.
