To ask the Minister of Education for an update on the review of guidance on the management of anaphylaxis in schools being undertaken by the (i) Department of Education; and (ii) Education Authority.

My department is progressing an update to the ‘Supporting pupils with Medication Needs’ Guidance in collaboration with the Department of Health and the Education Authority.

Department of Health guidance on the use of Adrenaline Auto-Injectors (AAIs) in schools appended to the departmental guidance was revised in October 2018.
