Answer
I can advise there are extensive existing waiting restrictions in the form of double yellow lines to facilitate traffic progression throughout Crawfordsburn Village. Crawfordsburn Village has numerous residential properties, and it is not considered appropriate to restrict the parking further at this time.
It is recognised that Crawfordsburn Village will have some delays during peak periods. However, there are concerns that addressing these peak period delays could inappropriately attract further commuting traffic through the Village rather than using the A2 Belfast Road.
Concerns about vehicles which are parked inappropriately which cause an obstruction or danger to any other road users should be reported to the to the police who is the enforcement authority using their non-emergency number 101.
