Answer
The new enhanced Minor Injury Unit opened on the Ulster hospital site on 6 September 2023.
Since then the Trust has treated 10,000 patients there and received only 5 complaints.
In the same period, the Trust has received 9 formal compliments concerning the Enhanced Minor Injury Service.
Patient surveys have received excellent feedback on the service with over 97% of patients, who have used the Minor Injury Unit, recommending it.
Patients have an opportunity to share their experiences of health and care via the Care Opinion website and the Trust welcomes those views so that it can further develop its service.
