To ask the Minister for Infrastructure whether her Department has any role in determining the annual commencement of home-school transport provision, operated by Translink.

My Department has no role in determining the annual commencement of home-school transport provision. Responsibility for home-to-school transport rests with the Department of Education, while the Education Authority is responsible for the delivery of home-to-school transport services and its contractual arrangements with transport providers, including Translink.
