To ask the Minister for Infrastructure to detail a timescale to introduce legislation to address inconsiderate pavement parking.

My officials are taking forward work to develop the necessary legislation to introduce a blanket ban across the North on parking a vehicle wholly on the footway, parking across dropped kerbs and double parking. It is my aim to introduce these changes in the latter part of 2026, subject to the legislative process.
