Answer
The Strategic Framework for Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) adopts an intersectional approach, recognising the specific barriers faced by deaf and disabled women and girls. As part of a series of community-led reviews, identified in the 2024-26 Delivery Plan, preparatory work is underway for the review focused on deaf and disabled women and girls. Initial engagement involving disability sector stakeholders is ongoing to ensure lived experience shapes the recommendations. This ongoing work will inform future actions and policy development under the EVAWG Framework.
