Answer
Mutual recognition of driving disqualifications (MRDD) is an international agreement entered into by the British and Irish Governments, which came into force on 1 August 2017.
My officials meet with Department of Transport (DfT) officials on a regular basis to discuss Driving Licence matters, including MRDD. Any issues raised are actioned and dealt with in a timely manner.
