To ask the Minister of Health to detail the total budget allocated to the Public Health Agency for public awareness campaigns in each of the last five years.

As part of a drive by all departments to reduce non-essential discretionary spend my department paused campaign advertising campaigns in 2023. Unfortunately, budget pressures have made it necessary that this continued in the following years with the resulting detrimental impacts on our ability to improve public education and awareness on a range of important public health matters.
