Answer
Double Yellow Lines (DYLs) located at school entrances are always enforceable, including during school holidays. Some school entrance locations are included as part of Traffic attendants’ routine patrols and my Department can also respond to specific requests for enforcement should parking at a particular location cause a concern.
The majority of “School Keep Clear” markings are advisory only and, as such, cannot be enforced by Traffic Attendants.
However, where “School Keep Clear” markings have been legislated, these will be accompanied by signage advising of restriction dates and times, which can be enforced by Traffic Attendants.
