Answer
Planning for the implementation of the Right Care Right Person (RCRP) model in Northern Ireland is being taken forward in a partnership approach between key stakeholders across Health, Justice and the PSNI.
My Department is working closely with PSNI at all levels of the RCRP implementation. For example, PSNI colleagues are represented on the overarching RCRP Strategic Group which has been established to provide strategic support for the implementation. The Silver Operational Group is co-chaired by senior officials in Health and the PSNI and membership consists of professionals from both. A number of subgroups have also been established to deliver key strands of the RCRP implementation, reporting to the Silver Group, and are either co-led by PSNI staff or have PSNI staff involved as part of their membership. All these groups continue to meet regularly to ensure a collaborative approach to delivery of the RCRP proposals.
