Answer

Data and evidence are essential for understanding the problem of violence against women and girls, measuring our progress towards ending it, and informing funding, service design and delivery decisions.

Preliminary work at a high level has already commenced on the gap analysis of front-line general service provision for victims and survivors of violence against women and girls.

Work is also ongoing to commission research on men and boys’ attitudes and behaviours related to violence against women and girls. It is anticipated that this research will commence within this financial year.
