AQW 12601/22-27 Written question to the Minister for Infrastructure

To ask the Minister for Infrastructure (i) why the resurfacing of the Groomsport Road roundabout has not been completed by the announced timeframe of 29 March 2024; and (ii) when he anticipates the work will be completed.

Answer

The scheme commenced on 19 February 2024 and, with the exception of the final surface, was substantially complete on 19 April 2024.

The final resurfacing was completed on 27 May 2024 with only a few minor items such as topsoiling of verges and setting of ironwork completed on 31 May 2024.
