Answer
Patients in the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, and others across Northern Ireland who are affected by the intermittent supply of lisdexamfetamine (Elvanse®) products should contact their prescriber or relevant healthcare professional for advice on treatment options.
As seen in my response to AQW 8194/22-27, communication has been issued to healthcare professionals providing advice and action to take during this period of supply disruption to help minimise the impact on patients. My Department is also continuing to monitor the supply situation with relevant stakeholders, including DHSC and the other devolved governments, and where necessary national and locally tried and tested mitigation arrangements can be enacted.
