Answer
The COVID-19 vaccination programme has followed the advice of the Joint Committee on Vaccinations and Immunisations (JCVI) and for the autumn programme, JCVI have recommended frontline health and social care workers should be offered a booster vaccination.
Therefore all frontline staff in Trusts as well as frontline staff in independent contractors such as GPs, dentists and community pharmacists are eligible to receive a booster dose via a Trust led clinic or at a participating community pharmacy. In addition, all care home staff will be offered a booster vaccination while community pharmacy teams visit every care home in Northern Ireland to offer vaccination to all residents.
