Answer

I can confirm that there has been substantial and ongoing engagement between my Department and Ards and North Down Borough Council in relation to byelaws applicable to Crawfordsburn Country Park.

This has included a multi-agency meeting in September 2021 involving various locally elected representatives, the chief executive of the council along with other relevant stakeholders. This has been followed up with ongoing written correspondence between the Council and my Department.
