Answer

My Department completed its first scheduled weed control treatment within the Ards and North Down Council Area earlier this year and a second treatment is now at an advanced stage with the timescale for completion largely dependent on weather conditions until the end of the treatment season.

As previously confirmed in AQW 2726/22-27, details of resurfacing programmes will be included in my Department’s 2022-23 Annual Report for Ards and North Down Borough Council which is due to be presented on 11 October 2022. The Report will be published on the Department’s website and placed in the Assembly library shortly after the Council meeting. A web-link to the published Report will also be issued to all MLAs in the Council area.
